This is your lactation journey—we’re here to guide and support you.

At Equally Expressed, we honor the unique experiences of every family. Whether you’re preparing for birth, navigating the early days of feeding, returning to work, or introducing solids, our care is rooted in affirmation, expertise, and culturally responsive support. We’re here to meet you where you are and help you move forward with confidence. Here’s how we can support you:

Prenatal Support

It’s never too early to prepare for your feeding journey. Our prenatal consultations are designed to help you feel informed and empowered before baby arrives. We’ll cover latch and positioning techniques, breast/chest care, and how to set feeding goals that reflect your individual needs and family values. Whether this is your first baby or you’re growing your family, you’ll leave with the tools and confidence you need for that all-important first feed.

Postpartum Support

The first days matter—gentle guidance for a strong start. In the early postpartum period, we offer hands-on support to help you and baby find your rhythm. We’ll assess latch, positioning, milk transfer, nipple and breast/chest comfort, and feeding frequency. We meet you where you are—whether you’re nursing, pumping, bottle-feeding, or doing a combination. Our goal is to support you in feeding your baby in a way that feels sustainable and affirming.

Back to Work Support

Feeding and working can coexist—with the right plan.
Returning to work doesn’t mean you have to stop feeding your baby the way you want to. We’ll help you create a personalized pumping schedule, optimize flange fit, plan for milk storage and bottle introduction, and prepare emotionally and logistically for this transition. Whether you’re working from home, onsite, or something in between, we’ll make sure your feeding goals stay within reach.

Weaning Support

Your feeding journey continues to evolve—and so do we.
As your baby grows, feeding takes new forms. We’re here to support you through all the transitions: introducing solids, handling teething and distractions, gentle weaning, and more. These sessions are designed to help you tune into your baby’s cues, nourish your growing child, and make decisions that feel right for your family.
